Open Handed

             Several times throughout this journey I’ve had “epiphany” moments, times where I felt that I was directly connected.  Like, plugged in, with an energy surge.

             This message today came from that type of place, from that level of enormous power.  Not mine, it is never me.  The connection arrives with a strength which changes the way I am breathing, bringing ripples to my skin, and causing me to sharpen my awareness.

             (All of the channeled information here does come from Source/from the Universe/from whatever you prefer to call the consciousness which is beyond us, but on a rare occasion, I can actually FEEL it physically.)

Close Contact

             Below I’m sharing a photo I recently came across, it’s another part of what we need to remember with this one.  We are as close or as far as we desire.  It is up to us to keep our memories alive, but it is also up to us to let go of what no longer serves.

             When we have released that which is holding us back, we are then truly able to understand our complete interconnectedness.  For me, my own hanging on is very much wrapped up in grief.

             I cling to the past, the ones who have gone before us, the ideals of yesterday, the way things USED to be.  It can be harsh, to live this way, and it is certainly unhealthy.  A better solution would be to allow those emotions to flow through me, and then out.  Letting go of the pain, but staying in close contact with the Joy.

                 Clearly I don’t have all the answers.  What I do have is a link to something much greater than myself, something so strong that it can reach out and take my breathe away.  That reminder, that “touch” of grace, is a gift.  I never take it for granted, am grateful for it every living second.

             It is my pleasure and privilege to share.  I just hope that we all are in a better position, when the time is perfect and right for each of us, to release while still staying close.

Landmark

              Today is post number 2,000.  I know, it seems like a big number, and also, it feels as though I’ve just begun to do the work that brings me here every evening.

             And why do I show up, day after day, year after year?  For you.  For whoever finds me and reads what I type out.  And for whoever it might help, in any small way.

             Which brings me to today’s message.  It’s about how we work together.  You read, you comment, you refer me to friends, you e-mail and ask for card readings to ensure that your path is clear and uncluttered.

             My part, as the radio, is to gather information.  To compile the bits and pieces that are made known to me into a cohesive (and hopefully entertaining) few minutes out of your day.

Collaboration

             When people combine forces, on any project, they become better for the doing of it  They approach the task as singular, but finish as part of something larger and more important.

             We do that here.  Your input and responses, your sharing the posts, your appreciation and kindness fuel me to keep going.

             We are a team.  It’s as simple as that.  So, thank you, for being on the other end of this.  Twothousand times.

             It was a busy day for The Deputy and I, we are preparing for The Winter Solstice (and all that entails).  When we returned home, and I stood before our card altar, here is where my direction was drawn.

The Holy Spirit is filing your life with grace and ease.  You are aligning with your purpose, and your discipline and focus are paying off.

The more you surrender to this Divine Energy, the more you will be gifted with synchronicity and flow.

Trust your immediate impulses and act on them without hesitation.  The Holy Spirit is helping you make the right choices at the right time.

Your greatest challenge is to hold on to this joyous and natural healthy self-esteem and not allow others to throw you into self-doubt.

Believe in your dreams, your spirit, and yourself.

are these views from last night.   When found the perfect tree, provided by the perfect guy.

I knew we were in the right place when I saw that this was his tabletop display.

             On the back parking lot, of a gas station.  Yep, Nathan had set up a holiday wonderland of greatness.  And we found him.

With rose hips!
And local lichen!

             This one was a bit smaller than the other swags and wreaths, so he made us a bargain deal.  It’s hanging on our front door right now.

             Things are feeling pretty damn festive around here….. one might even say jolly.

To Be Sustained.

             The weather is clear and beautiful.  Am I out on my bike?  No.  No, I am not.   We’ve had a plethora of errands to run, and needed to get them done before Dan went to work.  New realization?   I now can’t STAND sitting in traffic, all confined and closed up, entirely unable to quickly pedal on past.

             Tomorrow might be different.  A witch can hope.  What has NOT changed is the wonderful consistency of these daily messages that I’ve been receiving.   And how they are combining so delightfully well with our card draws.

             Also, I’m trying a new idea when I get out of bed, I’ll share and review it soon, after I’ve done it for more than a week.  Today, the results were terrific.  And the message was, too.

Patience and Understanding.

             Very much like what we heard on Wednesday, but with a slightly softer feel to this one.   When we see what the cards have to say, that emotion continues.

Being ‘in the gap’ can be disorienting and even scary.  Nothing to hold on to, no sense of direction, not even a hint of what choices and possibilities might be ahead.  But it was just this state of pure potential that existed before the universe was created.  All you can do now is to relax into this no-thingness . . . . fall into this silence between the words . . . . watch this gap between the outgoing and incoming breath.

             I love the openendedness of this image, the blank, vast freedom of the void.  It feels supportive and yet naked at the same time.  As the definition states, it is silent and full of possibility.  When we know we are understood, with a patient and unconditional type of love, we then have the trust it takes to appreciate this as a gift, as the sacred blessing that it is.

             Here’s a link (CLICK THIS) to a site that I stumbled upon recently.  The description of what this image is in a more traditional sense is very well done.  I’m going to spend more time over there, and see what else they have to offer.

             (Even though the imagery is not my favorite style, it’s got something intriguing about it that keeps pulling me back.  The symbolism is exceptionally well thought-out.)

this time from just outside my bedroom door, downstairs.

This was so green and soothing that I thought it must be Ireland.

             Gorgeous double rainbows.  In St Magdalena, South Tyrol, Italy, to be exact.  I think if we looked up the word “bucolic” in the dictionary, it might have this exact  picture.  If it doesn’t, it should.

Simplified.

             It was a jammy day, here in The Burrow, for all of us.  First one in, I don’t know….. months?  As the storm raged away outside, we stayed cozy indoors.  Clearly my bike is not yet back.

             When I got up today (finally), this is what I heard:

moderating indulgence.

             Not only have I learned how to live without numbers* in the past year, but my lessons on living joyfully have been powerful.  I know that, without question, we need to do what makes us happy, we need to seek satisfaction and fulfillment.

*Without numbers means that our bodies are not meant to be measured by digits: no calories, no pounds, no miles, no reps, no hours, no days.

             Our journeys are about finding Peace and sharing Love, not about math and guilt and acquisition.  The balance is our key.  Along those same lines, our daily draw expands on this concept nicely.

             (Remember, we can substitute any and all words here, to better receive this message.  If “camp-hosts” [or The Force, or Nature, or whatever] works for you, please use it, or any other replacement that suits your needs.  Just, please, don’t disregard this entire [important] concept simply due to letter arrangement.)

“Love  ~  God

God is Love, and God is everywhere.  Therefore, Divine care is surrounding, healing, and supporting this situation.   The answer to your question is quite simply ‘love.’  That’s because it’s all that exists, in truth.  By focusing upon God and this caring, you’ll find the answers, solutions, and results that you are seeking.

             When the Universe gives us this type of direct suggestion, we really need to honour it.  (Words aside.)
