Drawing on Serenity

Our focus has most certainly been on messages of Acceptance lately.  Which moves smoothly in to Release and Letting Go.

(And by “smoothly” I obviously mean: dragged kicking and screaming.)

Here’s the thing about Life Lessons, they are so rarely clear, so rarely apparent to see or understand.   It’s our job to filter out the background garbage and unearth the learning opportunity.

This can be so challenging.  And yet, once we do find it, once we do catch it in our sights….. it’s FABULOUS!  We simply need to use our tools, and make the discovery.  It’s not complicated, but it’s also not always easy.

             Here’s what I’m hearing,

Amongst the Chaos, there is Tranquility.

We have the power to find it.  We have the strength to locate it, and hold it close.  It is our healing, our respite.  It is the balm our frazzled soul requires.

The Universe is telling us to utilize our Quiet Moments, to MAKE the time to replenish our emptiness.  (Remember, if you can’t get out of town or even be alone, step away for just a few deep breaths.  We can all do at least that much.)

What I noticed when we took off for the falls last week was that the recharge I received kept me going.  I could truly draw on that time, that energy, when I was feeling run-down or worn-out.  (And we were really only gone for the afternoon!)

As I sat down to make notes on this post, I was drawn to a different set of cards (even though I had thought we’d continue with more of The Divine Feminine Oracle).  Here is our validation, here is where we can gather what we need for finding our peace.

peace and compassion

“Chrysoprase  ~

compassion, love, fertility, truth uplifting

Chrysoprase helps open the heart centre and allows you to feel the presence of divine unconditional love.

You are entering into a fertile period which will enable you to creatively express your true nature in a loving and compassionate way.  Through this you will give birth to new ideas which reflect and align with your true essence.

All you would love to create, manifest, and achieve is now possible, provided you remain true to yourself.  Listen to what your heart is saying; be guided by your intuition and you will create the success and fulfillment you so rightly deserve.

Many wondrous experiences are in store for you.”

Growth

Every.  Single.  Day.  We are granted educational opportunities.  It is our task to find them, and share them.  (We get more than one, but probably less than a million.)

Some are obvious, way obvious.  They are clear and easy to understand, they make sense.  Others, well, they can be like a spiritual Easter Egg hunt, elusive and hiding.

We all pass along our lessons in different and individual ways, none better than any other.  Some of us, like those loved ones who went Home early, had less time to learn and to teach.  But their lessons are as valid as someone who shares for twice as long.

It’s so very important to honour every type, evenly, lovingly, and fairly.

This is where the message is taking us right now:

find it, acknowledge it, give it.

To share, is key.  We can learn and gather, but if we don’t share and give some of ours to others, it doesn’t help; doesn’t help us, doesn’t help those who we could be learning from, in our own sharing.

This has been a difficult journey, no doubt about it, but it’s also been so fucking FULL!  The downs are terrible, the ups are amazing, but the in-betweens are where we spend most of our time.

To be grateful for all, every lesson, is where the Universe wants us to focus.  We are here to learn, and …… to teach.  It’s the sharing.  Really, it is.

I have to say that my old Nikon digital camera has been misbehaving lately.  I can’t take any photos with it at the current moment.  I may need a replacement.

For this post, I’m being directed to search in our archives and come up with the perfect complimentary view.

No card draw, just this, a shot I saved from December of 2015, it fits.  Our North Jetty, in Florence, as the sun sets.  All that sand, it used to be someplace else, and now, it makes a walkway, covering the rocks.

Capably So

Yesterday, before I begin a week of training for my new holiday/temporary employment, we went to my happy place.  Otherwise known as: the beach.

I am incredibly empowered by the shore.  Where the land meets the water, that in-between sacred space of neither one, nor the other.  It’s magical, it’s energetic.  To me, it’s life.

As we were coming home I thought about how much this journey of mine has been shaped by the sea.  It’s clearly something I cannot live without.  And as I get older (learning more along the way), I know that I don’t have to.

Here’s what I heard, as I pondered how very much each trip to the coast impacts me, on a soul-deep level:

find your strength.

I’ve located mine.  It’s about an hour west of here.  Someday, I promise, someday it will be out my back door, or a few steps down the road.  Someday, I will live so close that we can hear it from our porch.

For now though, I’m (almost) satisfied by making these occasional visits, and bringing that strength home with me.  In mental images, in memories, in phone photos, and in my dreaming mind.

This isn’t a new discovery for me, and yet in some ways it’s a fucking epiphany.  I’d bet real cash money that you know what yours is, too.   But maybe never realized it?

What moves your heart?  What powers your spirit?  What is it that gives you strength and energy?

Find it.  Aim at it.  Bring it home with you.  Hold it close.  Treasure it like the gift that it is.

On our card altar right now is an excellent reminder and validation.  Do we gain power from our Faith?  Is there strength in the knowledge that we are beloved and blessed and honoured?

Do we feel better holding on to the fact that we are never alone?  Never need to be afraid or lonely?
