Party of One, Plus All

Nearly every afternoon I come across (or am directed to) a new person/social media account/ground-breaking pioneer group who is speaking up and making a difference.

It’s these individuals and their strength where I see the hope in our future.

Our tomorrows depend on all of us doing our small part.  We know that one person can’t manage it alone.  But one person, plus one more person, plus another, plus more, together with many, can (and have, and will again) make an enormous difference.

This is why the Universe wants us to remember how valuable we are

one at a time.

Similar to how we survive when the challenges feel too heavy, when our circumstances seem overwhelming, when we struggle.  To stay afloat, we strip life down to basics, so that we are then able to face our next new day.

One minute, we can make.  One hour, we’re alright.  One small manageable portion at a time is a way to move forward when we absolutely think everything is impossible.

As just one person, we join with just one more person.  Eventually a group has formed.  Together, we change what does not work.  Together, we bring a new awareness.  Together, we create a better place to live.

Collectively

Because of more extra work/training for my Beloved today, I was on my own.  THIS is where I spent a large portion of time.  Well, there, the library, and bus stops.

The weather here is windy and mild.  Clear.  Which is enjoyable.  So, I appreciated every aspect of it.  But, in the back of my mind, as I trudged and rode and gazed and listened, I held on to our message:

Team Effort

Even when we are unaccompanied, we are still with others.  We’re in a city, or town, or a village.  We are part of the sacred Whole.  We are groups and clans and families (the made type as well as the born kind).

When we aim all of that energy towards a common goal, we are capable of achieving so very very much.  And that’s where our focus needs to be.  On accomplishments.  On the entirety of our combined successes.

Those groups and gatherings, those are our tribes, our treasures.  Even as I was today, a solitary person, I was still with everyone else.  As are we all.

Being directed to this particular draw on the card altar was another reminder of our team effort.  We can’t, any of us, have gotten this far without support and fellowship and caring.  Our rewards are to be shared, as is our healing.

reap what you sow

“Goddess Of Nature  ~

‘You reap what you sow;

Your dream is coming to fruition.’

This is a time to reap the rewards and benefits that are derived from the seeds of a project, venture, or idea you planted some time ago.  Your dream is coming to fruition.

It has not all been plain sailing, and many a time you have doubted whether your many efforts and labour would ever be rewarded.  Yet harvest time has come.

A time when you reap what you have sown.  Accept all the blessings about to come your way and realise that they are the result of the love, courage, dedication, and commitment you have shown in the recent past.

Give thanks to Mother Nature and enjoy.”

Desert
Desert

We were driving to visit family one time, heading AWAY from the coast (never a direction I go intentionally) and had just about reached the High Mountain Desert, when The Deputy said to me, “ya know what I don’t like about it?”  Because, truthfully, neither of us can stand that part of the world.

“It’s so scritchy!”  And ya know, I had to agree.  Some folks see the beauty in these stark landscapes.  We are not among them.  (Okay, HE can see the beauty, but doesn’t care to spend any time there.)

To us, it simply fells dry.  And for me, personally, too far from any ocean.  (Also, it’s uncomfortable.  And scritchy.)

.

Continuing with Team Effort

Everything I was shown this morning is just screaming* about Teamwork and Support.  Once more, the Universe wants us to know of (and acknowledge)  those secure family bonds, the tireless hand-in-hand emotional structure which is there for us.  Always.

*Not in a bad way, just in a very LOUD and PERVASIVE way.

We are being reminded of how, when a new cycle starts, we have the backing we need to move forward.  We have that unshakable foundation for anything we are beginning afresh.

Portraiture of Togetherness

The imagery from earlier was vivid and complicated.  Layers (again) of meaning and substance, in scene after scene, view after view.  The very “picture” of our families gathered and ready to stand behind us.  Strongly, with no hesitation.

Within our regular rotation around the card altar, we have a brilliant combination of this very message, blended with the recommendation by yesterday’s Goddess, and Tuesday’s saint.

animal messages, oracle cards, wild horses, family support

“Wild Horse  ~

Speak your passion aloud and defend those whom you love in word and deed.

Wild Horse, fabulous winged-Pegasus returned to earth, is the epitome of male sexual energy and of the soaring spirit which dance sets free.  His passions and intentions toward his mares are openly declared, his defence of them vigorous.

Strong at heart, Horse knows of no fear of others or of rejection.  Like Horse, defend robustly those whom you love from those who would hurt or belittle them, and let them know of your feelings with ardent speech – for Horse knows that Cupid favors the brave.”

Strongly Going Forward

Today’s post will be a combination of messages, from several sources.  (Only one of which is me.)  It’s gonna be a team effort!

First, we’re going to start with what I was shown this morning.  This statement is our jump-off point.

Believe in the Good.

Which was accompanied by some truly enchanting images.  (I really wish that you could see what I see, this morning it was amazing and way cool.)

Here, we are talking about the concept of thinking-to-being.  We know about  how positive thoughts bring positive manifestation (and the reverse).  So, it’s not “blind faith” as much as it’s “look around and SEE the blessings” which will then create more of the same.

Add this idea to our daily draw, which is outside of the regular rotation, because later I’m going to add some passages/thoughts from the companion book.

oracle cards, encouragement messages

“Encouragement  ~  54  ~

You are receiving a nudge in the right direction.

This card tells you that you’re being gently encouraged to step into your power, into the dream of your life.  New things are out there to be explored, and the nurturing power of the universe is giving you a nudge in the right direction.

You will get the help you need and won’t be alone in your quest.  Every step you take right now is supported by the wisdom of the universe!

You are on the right path . . . keep going.”

To Believe in the Good is to accept that we are worthy of this Encouragement.  That we ARE able to receive this help, and “keep going” on our path.

is from the book of the same name.  We have this to think about, and combine with the rest.  Because, wow.  (You might want to read it twice.)

“Although we sometimes avoid observing ourselves because we fear that what we see will be too painful, often we’re not looking at ourselves and our patterns simply because we are on autopilot.  We’re reacting to the events  in our lives and the emotions and thoughts we are having without imagining how we might create something different from our current experience.”

And later, there was another piece that needed to be shared.  (Again, go over this more than once.  And let it just sit with you for a sec.)

“….. it’s not that emotions sustain themselves indefinitely, but rather that you continually regenerate them.”

She sums up this bit with one more thought.

“As spiritual beings temporarily having a human experience, we’ve chosen to live within time . . . to perceive that there is a past, present, and future.”

That last one?  I’m jotting it down, and plan on toting it around with me.  Probably for days and days.

Optimistically Intentioned

As I remarked in our comments yesterday, a majority of the images that I’ve been shown lately have so much to do with hands.  Then last night, Dan and I watched a program featuring a gorgeously rendered cover-up tattoo represnting a healing hand.

I saw all of this again when I woke up earlier today.  All of this coming together as:

hope and help.

Living in a perpetual state of “all is well” will perfectly serve to keep everything well.  As our Gardener told us in the last daily draw, when we plant the seeds of lovingkindness, then, that’s what we grow.

We ALWAYS have help available, and we know this.  Assistance is no further away than reaching out, and asking for it.

And, as we return to our regular rotation around the card altar, an additional sort of helper appears.  One that is a personal favorite of mine.

animal oracle cards, druid messages, adder

“Adder  ~  Nathair (pronounced as Nah-hir)  ~

Transformation, Healing, Life Energy

The card depicts a pair of adders.  Druids were sometimes called Adders, and it is possible that the story of St Patrick ridding Ireland of snakes refers to the Druids.

In the background we see the Druid snake-stone altar in Cumbria, covered in ivy – a plant which, like the snake, is poisonous and yet which also speaks of the mystery of death and rebirth, and of the soul’s journey through the labyrinth from this world to the next and back again.

We see such a labyrinth symbolically depicted in the maze carved on the rock face.  Such patterns have been found in many places, including Tintagel in Cornwall.  In the foreground are ammonite and sea urchin fossils – both of which may have been used by Druids as magical ‘adder stones.’

Nathair offers healing and transformation.  Its ability to glide into the darkness through crevices in the rocks connects it to the Under and Otherworld, and the realm of Death.

It is the totem animal of the Earth Goddess, and also the Sky Father Sun God, and represents our ability to die and be reborn.  The energy that enables us to be born of earth is sexual energy, but this also necessitates our death.

Befriending adder or snake power will enable you to journey through life gracefully and magically, shedding your old life easily when the time comes – whether that old life be of the physical body or of a stage in this present incarnation.”

is this view of me.  On Main Street.  In the neighboring town of Springfield.

What?! My new-old kitchen stool isn’t the perfect prop for a sidewalk phone photo?

I broke my own rule of never spending more than 5 dollars for a used chair.  I had to have this one, even though the price was more than doubled.  How could I pass it up? We haven’t seen this style in over 40 years.  It needed to come home with us.

(Now I’m on the search for another one.  My mom saw mine, and wants it.)
