Exposure

             We’re talkin’ Honesty.  Again.  Because, at this time of year, there can be pain.  And suffering.

            None of us sets out to hide behind sorrow, it sometimes just happens.  Leading directly in to old, unhappy habits.

Open and True

            Instead of allowing the judgement and/or negativity of the past to bring us down, let’s step in to the healing mind-set of looking to our most genuine potential.  Our most honest and truthful selves.

             It can feel very exposed when we allow openness into our language and emotions.  But to be as genuine as we can be, that’s where the Universe is telling us we need to start.

             Remember though, we are never alone.  We have our Team, we have support.  Anytime it’s feeling like too much, ask for angel assistance.  Calling out to our guides will instantly bring relief.

             In fact, we have one here to help us navigate any rough spots ahead.

“Sensitivity  ~

Archangel Haniel:

Steadfast Perseverance

             Some prizes are harder to find than others.  But when we stay on our path, do the work, and continue forward, we really do get rewarded.

             Is the journey difficult at times?  Absolutely.  Are there barricades, detours, and bad roads along the way?  Without a doubt.  In fact, sometimes it feels as though our search is never-ending.

             Fortunately, this is not the case.  We will all win.  We will all come Home.  We will all see how very worthwhile each step and stumble and triumph really is/was.  And that’s what I was shown this morning.

             All we need to do is …….

just keep going.

             We can’t know, right now, how long any of it will take.  How far we’ll have to travel, or who we’ll encounter on our way.  But we CAN be certain that it’s worth it.  All of the good and bad, are worth it.

             To validate this message today, I was directed out of our regular rotation around the card altar.  We needed to hear from, and absorb deeply, this particular card.

“Breathe  ~

Archangel Raphael:

‘Take several deep breaths, and exhale slowly to awaken your energy and to release old patterns.’

Additional Message:

‘Often during times of stress, you may unconsciously hold your breath.  Yet, as you know, breath is essential to oxygenating your mind, body, spirit, and very life.

Write a note to yourself to breathe, as a reminder of the importance of invigorating yourself with deep and steady breaths.  Make trips to places where fresh air is plentiful.

You’ll also notice an increase in air quality when you’re near water, such as the beach or a lake.  Even taking a shower or bath puts you in touch with the positive ions associated with water and air.’

            The day before I spotted this, I had been wondering why there were no feathers around lately.  Thanks, Universe, I promise, we’re listening.

Communing with Continuity

             Our message today involves everyone.  Every one and every thing.  Like links in a massive, and beautifully diverse, chain.

             We’re talking connectedness here.  How everything is connected and related to every other thing.  The unknowably large and complicated web that is our existence.

Hands holding hands holding hands holding hands holding hands . . . . . .

             As if we are all just in a line, my hand holding yours, yours holding another, that next one holding yet another, until the row wraps back around to me and you again.

             This is also about how those hands are caring and supportive.  The strength behind this sort of assemblage is beyond our imagining.  It is bigger and greater and more wonderful than we can, with our small human brains, even grasp the mere idea of.

             We live in a world of too much divisiveness.  It’s up to us now to bring back the awareness of those connections, that healing system of support, our origins of belonging together.  Not competing and being drawn farther apart.

             I was directed to reach across our card altar this afternoon, so that we could see why this is fact, why this is also reassuring.

‘Everything is how it needs to be right now.  Look past the illusion  and see underlying order.’

‘A win-win situation is brewing, one with solutions that are fair to everyone involved.  This requires you to have blind faith that Heaven is working behind the scenes to extract the highest good for all.

Tonight’s Kitchen Adventures:

will be accompanied by the photo below.  This is a much bigger deal than it looks.

The empty space in the middle is where I forked out a tester one.

             We recently picked up, on sale, some very nice chicken pieces.  With the idea that Dan would make THIS recipe (watch the clip, it’s only 3 minutes and she’s my all-time fave).  Well, he wasn’t here.

             So, I did it my way.  Kinda like how my Nana used to fry up an entire hen in an iron skillet (not long after she’d wrung its neck in the backyard).   But I baked mine.

             And I didn’t marinate.  Or use mustard.  And I crushed (with my rolling pin) left-over croutons for the breading.  Which makes this more of an “inspired by” (but I can’t even tell you how tasty).

Unclassified Viewing with Highest Potential

             In my reading this week I came across a phrase I haven’t seen in a while, but one that I understand and connect with, and sort of missed since it’d been so long.  It’s occasionally titled other things, but where I saw the mention, it was referred to as: karmic debt.

             It was being used in reference to our relationships, and how we bump up against certain people in our lives (more than once, even), then move on without them.  We may have something from our past that needs to be reconciled with these folks, and they with us.  It’s a concept that many religions and belief systems adhere to, but call different names.

             This was all on my mind as I heard our message this morning, and it made sense that it’s what we would discuss today.

Not every BAD begins or ends with TERRIBLE.

             Since we recently touched on the topic of Forgiveness, it can be said that this is another side of that same focus.  We often carry guilt or shame which is completely not ours to tote around.

             Getting past that attitude involves forgiving ourselves, acknowledging that these are all lessons, and understanding where the once perceived as not-good actions and situations come from.  Our starting point is always something we’ve charted, and need to learn.

             So many times we can look back, later (much later, in a few cases) and see where the originating emotions come from.  And from that vantage point of time we are better able to see that there is no reason for labeling anything “good” or “bad” – great or horrible, it’s all perception.

             Standing in front of our card altar earlier, I was directed to leave the regular rotation so that we could experience this message.  Because, whatever direction the emotion is headed, as long as we feel it wholeheartedly, well then, our journey is sound and sure.

             At the last Home Show there were free samples from the Mountain Rose Herbs booth.  Obviously we picked some up.  One was loose herbal tea, their own Peace Blend.

             Since they are merely across town, I don’t have to pay for shipping if we drop by.  The front part of their facility?  Holy crap, I want to live there!

Official Caring Day

             Happy Oregon Statehood Day!  Hope everyone had a delightful (and stress-free) February 14th.  We battled a clogged sink drain, showed up early for appointments, connected with our kids, and went to work.  But still, we raised a metaphorical glass in honour of the occasion.

             Before I left the waterbed though, I was shown several views that need sharing.  All of them distinct and specific.  All with the same exact message:

try again.

             For example, the most obvious was a door.  It was solid.  And it was painted white, but with wear-marks from where it met with the frame over many many many years.  Bare wood showing through after so much time.

             The scene was intensely focused, allowing me to only see the bottom third.  Close the door.  This bit won’t go.

             Close the door, the lower portion refuses to shut cleanly.   Slam the door, it bounces back.  Shove the bottom of the door, it simply does not seal.

             Message?  Where we think that there is no more hope, that this avenue is closed off to us, it’s not.  Try Again.

             Open the door, give this another chance.  And when “it” is truly finished, gently pull the door shut behind, as we walk out and away.

             The act of completion will ease the door quietly and firmly in place.  When we stop fighting, we are gifted with the peace and knowing that we’ve released the struggle.

             On our card altar today we start with a line that I’ve changed.  The entire guidebook definition needed work.  It’s better now.
