Many of us (most of us!) make judgments or decisions about people and situations based entirely on a first glace. I’m wondering if it’s another cultural failure? Are we raised and reared to cast those spur-of-the-moment, based-on-nothing, declarations of others?
Because when we meet someone, when we see a stranger on social media or in the news, the truth of it is, we know nearly nothing about them. We don’t know their story. We don’t know their health, they’re lives.
And yet, we immediately jump right in, filling the blanks with our own baggage, or own bias, our narrative voice.
Today the Universe is reminding us that it’s really all about the
insides.
Our outer shell, our house, our car, our clothes, our jobs, our exterior frivolities, all of that is superficial. All of that is temporary and of very little importance when seen on a soul level. When looking with spiritual eyes, none of it matters.
Who a person is, inside, is where our value lies. Our doings, our actions, our list of kindnesses is where we can see how far we’ve come, and how far we have still to travel.
As we encounter others, as we cross paths with or come into contact with folks out in the world and on the ‘net, can we do better? Can we allow the judging to fall away? Can we all please practice looking deeper and seeing the humanity* in every person?
There was a phrase in the public not so long ago which spoke of her as being “someone’s daughter/mother/sister” but has since been corrected. Now, we realize, she is someone.
As we all are. Our own individual being is worthy of care, worthy of freedom, the freedom to live our lives, walk our road, in whatever manner we see fit.
Anyone who has ever met me (or really, even glanced my way for the briefest moment), and reads these posts regularly, knows very well how much of a rule-follower I am not.
On the other hand, I’m oddly old-fashioned in some areas of my life. Quilting is an excellent example. The words “modern” and “new” instantly send me away. “Antique” and “shabby?” Yes, much better.
Today’s message was at once surprising/not surprising, for these very reasons. (I am nothing, if not confusing and eclectic.)

Much like yesterday, our familial connections are most important right now. The focus is quite close to home. We’re being encouraged to stand Loud and Proud, being precisely who we are. To wave that banner of individuality high, far, and wide.
Because when we apply this unique us-ness to those standard values (actual caring-for-all-humanity values like love, trust, and integrity) then we are becoming Way Showers of the flashiest variety. And that can’t be anything but good.
On our card altar, we’re also being given a chance to put this in to action. No matter what label you apply to Divine Source, today’s daily draw brings healing and lovingkindness into the equation.

One of Sandalphon’s principal roles is to deliver and answer our prayers. Sandalphon says that every prayer is heard and answered (although the answer may come in a different form than we expect).
All prayers are of equal importance in Heaven, and there are plenty of angels to help everyone on Earth. Call upon Sandalphon when you need help in allowing yourself to receive.”

We also came home with two jars of local honey and lunch. It was hotter than the surface of the sun, so we took our time with the hills as we journeyed back to The Burrow.
There were several examples, this morning, of what we need to address. They were images of clear and varied domestic scenes.
One was filled with a diverse and beautifully mixed/blended family, obviously gathered for a celebratory event. Another showed many generations, all in one place, some having traveled very far to get there.
All the views that were shown to me told the same story, all held the same emotion.
Come together,
stand up.
No matter the type of Tribe or Clan we belong to, it is important right now that we stay connected to each other. With the current resources available, globally, there is no reason why we can’t make contact with our far-flung loved ones. (Even those who now reside on the Other Side.)
We are also being reminded of how important it is to walk our talk. Because when we live a genuine life, being clear about what is no longer acceptable, what is required as a loving society, then, Truth is obvious.
It’s a statement which then transforms into a Universal healing. And THAT will be a benefit for us all.
Back within our regular rotation now that I’m home, our card altar visitor has come to add one more layer to this message. A way for us to make our statements and our contentedness more powerful.

I can’t do this.
I’m unworthy.
I’ll fail, so why try?
I don’t deserve this.
I’m unlovable.
The truth may be that you are locked in a prison of your own making. That’s good news, because it means that you have the key to let yourself out.
This is a sign that you need to spend some time with yourself addressing those beliefs that counter your hard work to get ahead. You can change them if you want to. You don’t want to stay in prison, do you?
Take inventory of your thoughts, let yourself out of jail, spend a few minutes outdoors in gratitude. It’s time to let the sunshine in.”

As I go about my life, doing what needs doing, and doing what I love to do, some learning happens along the way. It’s like this for everyone, no doubt. But not everyone’s job involves talking to dead people, seeing past lives, or sharing all that I (spiritually) hear.
What I woke up with this morning was slightly different from the way messages have been arriving in the past year. There were views that were less precise, but more directed. I was made to know that there is . . . .
. . . . still judging.
There are some among us who feel unworthy. And that’s just sad. We ALL deserve the best. We ALL have the right to live in lovingkindness and full honesty.
If we come across people who do not support us, well, we need to release them. Let them, and their negativity, go. Open our hands, and allow them to slip away.
These are family members, you say? I reply with, “so what?!” If they are harmful, then they are harmful. If they make us feel bad, then they have lost the privilege to be around us.
As I stood before our card altar today, I was directed away from the regular rotation. When I looked at this draw, I knew exactly why.

In turn, feel the light and love they emanate to you in return and thank the angels for their assistance.”
What is family? Answer: anything you want it to be. To me, it’s a group of fellow humans who love me and I love them. No more, no less. Are all of mine related by blood? Nope. Because THAT is not what makes us care.
When we spend time with people who cause us pain, in any way, we are cheating ourselves out of living a true and grace-filled life. Family is valuable, especially the loving and genuinely non-judgement kind.

Couldn’t even tell you what street we were on. But I had to take the shot and then share. Because, that’s what I do.
One of the reasons that I don’t call my witchy self elf “Wiccan” or any anything other than eclectic generic Pagan, is because I’m not a good rule follower. (You may have noticed.) Today’s daily draw is the perfect example.
But wait, let’s not get ahead of ourselves here. What I woke up with, in terms of our channeled message, needs to be addressed first. Because it feels as though it’s the next logical step after the past two.
Health,
mental and physical.
When we are well, in mind-body-spirit, then we are balanced. But if one of those is out of order (or, as we discussed yesterday, in need of Fixing) then they are all off.
The things that we have to do to keep ourselves healthy are not complicated. Even though the advertising industry and our overly-consumer-driven culture tries to tell us otherwise.
In fact, we’d probably be far better off if we purchased less and just walked around outside more. It’s not a puzzle why we sometimes feel yucky. Usually it’s a pretty easy and quick fix. As long as we’re paying attention.
What I was referring to earlier/above, is the new information that I’ve been gathering, which is a fascinating (and fun) way to tune-in. Starting with ourselves, then working out.

From the introduction of The Map (Finding The Magic And Inner Meaning In The Story Of Your Life) by Colette Baron-Reid, she’s explaining how we all have a map of our lives, and not just that blueprint we create with our Guides and Team before we get here, but a symbolic treasure chart:
“The Map becomes visible to you when you make a conscious choice to be awake, aware of something greater than yourself, and to embrace the possibility of a pattern created by (the) Spirit (world) that you can’t always make out from where you stand.”
As I was reading this afternoon, it became clear to me why I hadn’t made it in to the card altar room yet (I was literally hours behind schedule). Well, it was because we needed to take a look at this deck, right now, before I get any further in my studying.
Is that cheating? Nope. There are no rules to break in this case. We learn exactly when we’re supposed to. At this moment, we need to know and see and gain knowledge with the help of these tools.

In the interest of full exposure, let’s also look at the Contrary angle of this one, even though it definitely came up Direct. It’s new, and we want to know it all!
“Reversed
If you think that the sun won’t rise without you, then it’s time to change. Perhaps you believe no one will be there to help you, or you expect that you have to do all the work, emotional or otherwise. This is a fear-based idea and only serves to alienate you from others by taking away their right to participate.
Receiving the One-Ring Circus card may indicate the misuse of power. Give it up, let go of the need to control how the wind blows, and let others play their part. You don’t need to be invincible, have all the answers, or be the savior. Things will get done if you step out of your own way.
Yet another meaning for this card suggests that someone else may be trying to control you. This needs to be addressed. Don’t be afraid to set a boundary – this is a wonderful step to interdependence.
Consider the example of two trees planted side by side sharing the sunlight equally, neither overshadowing the other.”
